How long does the SELR20 battery last per charge?
The 48V 30Ah lithium-ion battery provides a full shift of intermittent pallet moves under normal warehouse conditions. Runtime varies by load weight and travel distance. For continuous heavy-load use or multi-shift operations, a second battery allows hot-swap continuity.
How long does it take to fully charge?
Approximately 5 to 6 hours from empty using the included 120V charger. No special wiring or outlet required. Plug into any standard North American wall outlet.
What type of maintenance is required?
The SELR20 uses a sealed lithium-ion battery and enclosed electronics, which reduces routine service compared to lead-acid units. Periodic checks include wheel condition, fork integrity, hydraulic fluid level, and connection points. No battery watering or acid maintenance is required. Refer to the included operator manual for the full maintenance schedule.
Can I use the SELR20 outdoors?
The SELR20 is designed primarily for indoor warehouse and dock environments with smooth, sealed concrete. Light outdoor use is acceptable in dry conditions on paved surfaces. Avoid rain, standing water, gravel, and rough asphalt. Store the battery indoors at all times.
Can I use it inside trucks, trailers, or containers?
Yes. The SELR20 is well suited for loading and unloading inside trailers and shipping containers. Operators commonly use it for dock-to-truck workflows where the 4,400 lb capacity handles heavier freight pallets.

How long does delivery take?
The SELR20 ships via LTL freight on a pallet from our Canadian warehouse. Typical transit is 3–7 business days depending on your location, after 1–3 days handling time. Liftgate and appointment delivery may be available depending on carrier. Contact us at sales@sumachay.com for a delivery quote.
What is included in the warranty?
The SELR20 includes a 1-year warranty covering the drive motor, hydraulic system, controller, and battery against manufacturing defects. Claims are handled directly by our Canadian team. No third-party runaround. For extended 18-month coverage, see the SELR20+ Plus Series.
